For those of you that are interested (and especially to my JWADOPT peeps!) I thought I'd post the results of our $1 website. To date, through the website, yard sale (almost entirely donated items, btw), and a few cash contibutions from family members, we are very very grateful to have raised about $4000.00

The site is still up (http://helpbringourbabyhome.com/), although at a standstill. We still haven't figured this ALL out financially yet, but we would NOT have been able to move forward without the generous support of all of you contributors. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!

Where we're at now

Right now we're waiting on approval of a form from Immigration. Of course they're very backed up right night and the process for this form is taking about three months! We have our apt with them for fingerprints, but it's not until April 22. Steve has been calling Senators hoping one will get involved and help get the process expedited for us. I am sending a letter to Congressman Frank Lucas today explaining our situation in detail and asking him to please involve himself to speed this up for us and for Amelia.

Everyone keeps asking, "When are you going to get her?" This is about all we can say at this point. It's very discouraging waiting for so long while Amelia just sits over there getting older without the love and nurturing of her parents. PLEASE keep us in your prayers! We hope to bring our daughter home soon!
